  1. i assume he meant bama football and UK basketball ... which makes sense. both programs are living in the past ;D I don't know how I feel about Tubby leaving. I think I would have preferred he stay at UK because he has not been that great for them and Pearl is 2-2 against him.
  2. i have them losing to OSU in my bracket, and have OSU winning it all actually... but ill gladly take my bracket being busted for UT to advance wouldnt mind playing UL regularly, it would be a nice local game that could be a nice rivalry due to proximity. there has been talk that UT is looking to start a series with "a big east team" but I dont know who the articel that brought that up was referring to.
  3. Who do you think will be the first #1 seed to go down in the men's tourny? I'm a little biased and have to go with OSU. They didn't deserve to beat Xavier, and UT took OSU to the wire earlier this year at Columbus. If UT is making their shots, they can beat anybody in the field. If they are not making their shots, it could get ugly because they can't pound it inside to make up the difference.
  4. i knew the gillian connection cause i thought he was mostly a track guy anyways pretty impressive to see the soccer player on there though... doubt there are many guys around that double up on soccer and sprints and dont actually suck
  5. didn't know it was the earliest, but it was last Thursday, I believe. Big news so far is they are going to a no huddle offense. Should be interesting. Most of the expected playmakers will not arrive until this summer, so it is hard to know. Lots of weapons coming in from this recruting class. Gerald Jones, Brent Vinson, Kenny O'neal, and Ahmad Paige at WR, and Lennon Creer at RB are all expected to have some impact next year. Some big names on D not coming in until summer in Chris Donald at LB, Ben Martin at DE, and Eric Berry and NEvin McKenzie in the seconday. Lots of unknowns at this point with so many players expected to make an impact yet to report to school, but it should be agood year next year. Opening game @Cal shoud set the tone for the year, again. UT has a chance to make a big splash next year if all the players coming in play like their potential. Expect them to be in the race for the SEC championship next year with AInge back at the helm and Chavis working his magic on D as always. Honestly, I think anything less than a 10 win season will be a dissapointment.
  6. well UF is 6-6 so far this year and was one of the worst teams in the SEC last year, if I remember correctly, so it is not really that bold of a statement
  7. Pat Summit is to return the favor for Bruce Pearl tonight, but she is not saying what she is doing yet. UT takes on UF tonight at 9 on ESPN... over a 100 student camped out last night, and there are already several hundred people outside the arena waiting to get in (student tickets are first come, first serve). http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=2780818
  8. why would anyone defend them when they have to play nearly half of their schedule against the AL East?
  9. RT... I really dislike law, seriously. Too many details... ha. I actually learned about this the other day in my law course. I would go with the Limited Liability Company (LLC). Sheriff, which one is it? Which one would you pick for this type of organization, RT? However, it sounds more like an LP... and I certainly hope that it's not just a partnership. If it is, then be careful sheriff. LLC is the best not necessarily, there a ton of different things that could make other forms of entities favorable for his situation, but I don't know what all is going on, so it is impossible to say which is best. To say the LLC is the best as a blanket statement is bold and I would not necessarily agree with that.
  10. What kind of organization is it that you are joining? Partnership, LP, LLP, LLLP, LLC, etc?
  11. when does the game actually come out, like June/July?
  12. Friday night sucks... I had a group of about 10 people that were going to come down for the SATURDAY WVU game, but dont event know if I can make it myself now. >
  13. No way, a one loss SEC team, OSU, UM, FSU, Texas, OU, Cal etc. would still be much more highly ranked than USF would It would be nearly impossible for a team that starts the season unranked to climb to the national championship, especially form the Big East which still has not fully shed the weak image from the conference moves.
  14. Cal- Eh, if our D from this year shut them down, our D next year should blanket them UF- First real game for Tebow, and severla new starters, i like our chances more than not Bama- Still a couple years away from being a real threat in the SEC
  15. Tennessee at 60-1 that is somewhat tempting to put like $5 on it
  16. they sucked when we played them and i seriously doubt they have a ton of talent coming up they redshirted almost their entire class last season, and they just signed two of the top 25 or so recruits in the country in Marvin Austing (#1 DT in the country) and Dwight Jones, one of the top 5 WR's in the country. I don't know if they will bowl, but they will scare a lot of teams next year
  17. they did bring in two of the top recruits in the country this year and had a ton of talent redshirted this past season
