  1. ugh, check the schedules... week 2 is actually one of the WORST weeks of the season to play for headlines Oregon at Michigan Miami at Oklahoma Va Tech at LSU ND at Penn St TCU at Texas Nebraska at Wake Forest among others
  2. the month of september is going to be brutal but schedule works out REALLY well for me, UT has a bye for WVU week and fall break for UCF week, should be able to make both
  3. yea, the right click disabling is annoying... remove whatever function is causing it if at all possible good work
  4. he is skyrocekting up my list of coaches I just absolutely hate with comments like this. he was already high on the list just for being the head coach at Bama, but stupidity like this almost puts him in the same group as Spurrier and Urban.
  5. Bruce Pearl painted his chest in support of the women's team last night when they took on Duke at home. Even after his superstar All-AMerican went down to injury and a road game coming up on Wednesday, he took the time out to support the women.
  6. i still stick by the best bang for the buck (pick) was Colsten for the saints except for a sprained ankle in like week 11, he would have been the rookie of the year, and he was a very late round draft pick but McNeil was also a very solid value pick
  7. Unfortunately, if this is picked up by TV it would be a day game. The CBS/ESPN/Lincoln Financial and SEC contract gives the 3rd weekend of football to CBS. They get the 3:30 and night slot. Lincoln Financial gets the noon slot (which can be split between 2 games). The SEC had used this night slot for UF/Tennessee the last three years, and unless something happens I don't doubt they won't show that game again at night. Other games that day include Louisville/UK; Arkansas/Alabama; and our game. ESPN has no rights to any SEC game during that time as Lincoln Fiancial or CBS is airing their games, so I'd say there is very little chance of ESPN for this one. If on National TV it will be a 3:30 CBS kickoff or more than likely a noon Lincoln Financial. There is still CSS which can pick up the 6pm slot because it is not a national telecast, that would make it available on ESPN Gameplan. if all that is true, which I don't doubt it is, my guess is arkansas/bama at 330, and then a toss up between UK/UL and Auburn/USF with the slight edge going to USF/Auburn. Like you said, doubt UT/UF gets bumped out of the night slot, it has been there for several years. on a personal note, could they have picked a worse weekend for this game? Really, UT/UF weekend? I had been planning on going to Gainesville for the game since this past years game ... >
  8. well judging by how the chargers ran the ball (his side, all day), he was their most valuable player
  9. let's see if he actually makes it to campus first... baseball recruiting is a completely different beast with the draft looming
  10. sounds like someone has been doing some smazza stalking ... geez
  11. i havent had time to check up on that situation, did Arkansas really push Malzahn out the door?? that is crazy, if true. Arkansas had one of the msot innovative and efficient uses of talent in the country last year.
  12. if Colston does not miss 2-3 games towards the end of the year, he would have had more receiving yards than Bush had rushing and receiving combined
  13. Before Colsten got hurt, Bush was not even the best rookie on his team
  14. basically what he said... if anything, it helps USF recruiting. UF now has all the leverage with the top kids across the NATION, which will let some of the lower level kids slip to USF. The kids that UF would use ot fill out a class in the past, now become prime targets and big recruits for USF.
  15. so much for all the crap about UM and OSU being the two best teams little did they know, the two best teams were in the SEC, LSU and UF
  16. Big 10 was actually 2-1 against the SEC in bowls this year : don't include UT's performance in that count, they forgot to show up ... and still almost beat PSU. If UT played a decent team, they would have lost by 20-30 points.
  17. checking USF email accounts: Mike Ford is not registered Tyrone McKenzie is registered Kevin Williams looks to be registered (maybe just the same name) Kevin McCaskill is not registered
  18. I would not be surprised at all if 'Bama ended up 6-6 next year... good thing they just blew the budget on saban
  19. ECU outnumbered USF fans in five points by A LOT, I was beginning to wonder if USF would only have a thousand or so fans at the game on Friday night, jugding by the amount of people I saw out at the bars
