  1. Sorry didn’t want to be too negative this week and not sure I should continue to list my grievances. Facilities are only important when someone has to go to the bathroom and the only reason anyone thinks it has anything to do with advancement is because so much time was spent making fun of UCF’s and when they got it they then made a big deal about it being a part of the difference. Firing bad people when it reaches a boiling point isn’t enough to be successful. You need to hire good people at some point and not extend bad people for no explicable reason. We need younger, fresher more exciting people in athletics that have fresher more exiting ideas. MK’s nature is to not rock the boat, stay consistent and stay the course and that just doesn’t work when your course sucks. We need a disrupter, we need to find out how USF advances and that’s not by copying UCF a decade after somethings work out for them.
  2. I am holding out for a big 3 rivalry, until that time I remain unrivaled and will not be participating in any war on g4 (+1) shenanigans.
  3. You need to be entirely confident that you are going to get out, if there is even a shred of doubt in your soul that we maybe stuck here for life you need to seek employment elsewhere.
  4. That’s what they did with the OCS because that’s what they thought was the most important and what they could accomplish and low and behold they are making that a possibility. We need people that see this as possible, as the only thing of importance and that manifest it despite whatever impossibilities everyone else tries to tell them exists. Anyone can come up with endless reasons things are impossible what is needed is a person that sees the possibilities and creates the way that it is.
  5. Some people are masochists and pay dearly for humiliation and pain. We aren’t bad at what we consistently deliver it’s just not what the mainstream enjoys spending their money on. But if you don’t think it’s enjoying pain and humiliation that drives people what it mostly aligns with is a cult.
  6. Didn’t say we don’t do what every team does and apply like they all do; my issue is that it isn’t the only thing that consumes us. This is the only thing that matters and we should be singularly focused on it. It should be on every computer screen, on every wall, on every memo, it should be addressed in every standup where everyone is asked what did you do yesterday to get us out of the aac, what are your plans for today and is there anything anyone in the organization can do to help you accomplish your goals. Our culture needs to be we do not belong here and we are getting out by any means necessary. Anyone that does not believe that and does not believe they can help accomplish that needs to be shown the door immediately.
  7. The problem with this movie is it is being sold as a redemption movie, the beginning of the rise was great but the fall has now gone on for longer than the rise with no redemption in site. Pick up the pace or rebrand it as a tragedy so that people know what they are going to see.
  8. If everyone is volunteering at the local pal league I can be as forgiving and tolerant as anyone (mostly because I’m not volunteering my time) that they are trying their best but that’s not what we have here. When people are being paid handsomely, more handsomely than people outperforming them, and are being given given more resources than people that are also out performing them; I have a problem with that. The answer seems to always be we just need more but there never seems to be a plan in place about how to use the more that we get into something of tangible value. Every single thing that takes place every single day should be measured against how does this get us out of the aac as soon as possible and everyone that works there should have some plan about how they think that’s actually possible. If the answer is this is where we are settled on staying be honest about that so people can make the decisions that are appropriate for them.
  9. Winning is all that matters I just have a different measure of what is actually winning. You think it’s measured by the results of the games you are playing and i think it’s measured by the games you are playing. There is a reason people always want to move up in life and continuing to move down until you find a place you can perhaps compete isn’t actually winning no matter how anyone wants to greenwash the failure.
  10. All that matters from this article is VPMK more the Danny White that we need or the Doug Woolard that he is…
  11. I always figured you were a young gravy fan
  12. If you aren’t susceptible to cults and multi level marketing you aren’t the consumer we are trying to appeal to, enjoy your shunning
  13. If caring about these teams are what is required to be a great fan I’m proud to be mediocre, I actually don’t believe anyone honestly cares about these teams they just feel like they have to pretend
  14. Picking a religion and having the Jonas Brothers play before the games both seem like better ways to inject excitement into game days
  15. It does, I understand why some people hedge their bets like that but I can’t do it (instead of either way being happy either way I’d be angry and it would just not feel good to me; we all have to cope in our own ways though).
  16. If you were going for UTSA it was worth the watch if you were going for USF definitely skip it and watch the first quarter two more times
  17. Cool contribution bro, 30 seconds later people with no dog in the fight had the same how could this have happened take. It’s rather jarring if you just take a step back for a moment and not try to defend the indefensible.
  18. I mean it’s only been 14 years and VPMK is only finishing his 5th year and entering his 6th, these things take time (except of course for all the examples where people are actually successful and it doesn’t).
  19. It’s just impossible to watch where we are at and not think about how unfathomable it is based on where we were
  20. Imagine someone telling you in 2009 that in 14 years we would be coming off 4 wins in 3 seasons, be in a significantly lower conference than UCF, getting waxed by UTSA and hoping to be lucky enough to beat charlotte. Stay the course boys the future is bright under our milquetoast leadership!
