  1. It was amazing that Nick survived. Even for a tough physical guy he was very lucky.
  2. Danny Boy Cane is rather infamous. I wonder if this is the same guy.
  3. I'm betting Jo Jo ends up a bull and Sanchez is coming in as a half back / fullback, so we look to be in fine shape at RB. QB is more up in the air although we do have one solid guy committed.
  4. +1. Martin is getting all the pub, and for good reason, but David is playing great. Dominik and Schiano appear to be solid judges of talent, their draft was spot on. let's not get too excited just yet about the Bucs Why not Mike ? There hasn't been much to get excited about for along time and Martins games alone should be enough to get excited about. If you remember Schiano traded to move up in the draft to get Martin and he is somewhat like a Ray Rice type guy that Schiano loves. for the same reason I begged people here to stop worrying about our ranking when we won our first two games this season It appears you applied one reason for two vastly different issues. It's been fun watching the Bucs put up an average of 28+ points per game ... "fun" is all anyone is saying here, anyway, countering the OP's "meh" comment. fun is fine I just don't like folks getting ahead of themselves off of one huge game. They have been better thisyear--- but topping Raheem is not exactly difficult either. anyway== I have been enjoying them much more this season. It would have been easier this year watching the Bulls if we came in with low expectations but no-- the media propped up a LOSING team as this years favorite to win the BE and wham-- some of us bought into it. It is a hell of a lot easier to watch a team grow than it is to watch them fall apart. Enjoying football? I thought you were more of a music fan.
  5. We really got screwed in that Rutgers game and it is not too hard to see how it had to demoralize the team, but for me the real coup de gras was the Sun Bowl. We had a huge crowd out there and we just got totally punked. That was after all those other losses.
  6. Most of the Miami fans feel about the same as we do about playing UCF, but the sanctions could change their perspective down the road.
  7. He just stuck in the ground in the endzone. There wasn't really any digging. They were there for less than a min. before leaving the field. The team didn't really stick around long after the game. Nothing like the last time at the Citrus Bowl.
  8. That's him!  I remember he brought some of his German followers to the Bullspen at the time.  I guess he didn't understand American football or got homesick. He was always a project... probably just never developed enough to justify keeping around.
  9. He transferred to some small school up north, but I don't think he did much there.  He was a nice kid, but not a D1 talent. There was a nagging injury to his ankle that required surgery. After that he was not a factor.
  10. All I expect is for him to push up the level of competition at RB, so that as a group they can step up and take pressure off Matt to be most of our offense. The group needs to step up, not just Mike Ford. If defenses are worried about more than what Matt can do I'll be happy. We have some talent at running back and should have more than a one trick pony. From what I'm hearing Williams looks better and better. Mo and Ponton have both looked very good in the past. When Mo fully recovers watch out. He sure filled in well for Andre prior to his injury. Talking about lightining, Aston Samuels has serious wheels. While I don't expect an instant impact don't forget about Kelly coming as a FB in the Fall. If Ford developes faster that will be great, but he does not need to dominate from day one for the team to be successful or for me to consider him a success. For his second season he needs to start looking like Andre not this coming year. Even Andre probably would not have looked like our memories had he been at USF as a Freshman. The first we saw of him he was already a Junior.
  11. No, I think Anthony Henry's deal with Dallas was twenty-five million over five years. Something like that had been anticipated for Kawika or he might have done a new deal with KC. This is a plan b option. The only positive is that in New York he is more likely to make it to some of our games. He was at the Kansas game this year. He is really a great guy.
  12. It will be interesting to see how many tickets we get. SEC teams don't tend to make available many tickets for visiting fans.
  13. Thanks for making something like them available to us. Not something I am in any rush to get, but it is a nice momento of another great season. Hopfully, we end up with quite a collection over time.
  14. Sure he wanted to get out of Gainsville, (who wouldn't) but Woolard told him thanks, but don't call us....
  15. Greg now has another post to his blog in which he says that Mike Ford made the last hour of practice and CJL was impressed. Guess the glass might not be quite so empty.
  16. Hey, if you're going to dream: We took the Cards baseball coach.  Lets go back to the well.  ÂÂ
  17. He did not end on the best note, but he is still a Bull.
  18. Hall's size hurt him with the NFL. Nicholas will be fine on draft day. Sure would be nice if the Bucs picked him up.
  19. Ouch, Moron is a little harsh, smazza is a sharp guy he just has a different view point. Save the venom for the knats and gaytors.
  20. Ouch! Never thought about being mistaken for smazza.
  21. The team looks much better than last year and we still have a couple guys out with injuries. It was real nice to see Richardson back out there getting some time on the court.
  22. Ford is a great talent, but the other guys are all pretty good too. They will all battle to see who gets to start. No one is an automatic starter. Better talent tends to raise everyone's performance.
  23. Speaking of 6'5" receivers it sure would be nice to see Chris Summers come here after this weekend.
