  1. There have been rumors that sales are up from last year, but nothing official has been put out.
  2. This guy is going to get some abuse at any 1A program he transfers to. At this point he would be better off at an AA or lower program.
  3. Not sure if most of our fans would rather have the Miami road trip... There was a lot of crying about the conditions in Miami last time around and we have yet to make a trip to Orlando. As someone who has attended a few UCF games the conditions are not that much different for now. Miami has the edge for being Miami, but venue wise it is pretty close. The deciding factor will likely be how our fans are treated in Orlando. As for me, I would rather go to Miami. We had a great time down there and I can go to Orlando anytime, but O'Leary is right about it being an easy win. 8-)
  4. Seems like the JUCO guys are great or a total bust. Andre Hall and Mr. Watson certainly raise the bar.
  5. I wonder how much the Big East affiliation helps his stock. Being one of the top performers in CUSA just dosen't have the same clout.
  6. It is my understanding that section 237 is now a $2,000 contribution for new season ticket purchases. The Green Jacket level was for last season.
  7. So close yet still so far...  Almost enough to put you in the mood for a Kansas song.
  8. Some of those gators look pretty nice. I think at least some short term bonding would be a possibility I could handle.
  9. GOL deserves his props. UCF has had a major turn around. It will be even more fun killing them at their place with the higher expectations of their fans. Then again UCF fans always seem to think they are on the verge of greatness. :
  10. Tickets have already got tougher to get. My donation level doubled this year, but I would need to nearly double it again to get more seats near the ones I have now. Just think how dear seats will be once we begin to have regular sellouts.
  11. We have some pretty good players coming in next year and USF should have a full roster. Mac has been a great floor coach and having a full roster of "his players" sounds more like a program that is rebounding than one in decline. The future is bright Bulls.
  12. I am sure Brad wouldn't mind a little donation... It takes a lot to keep this site going.
  13. No need to cry... The Gators played great and they are the champs. Props to them. At least they are a Florida team and the have brought the title to our state.
  14. I wouldn't be so quick to assume the guy quit... It is very likely that it was not solely his decision... Mac can not improve without making some changes. This is good news.
  15. Any money I donated can also go to the site... Thanks Brad for all your efforts in providing this site for Bull fans. Glad to have Minotaur back in the family. Welcome back Matt!
  16. Do you still have your orange jumpsuit? ÂÂ
  17. The defensive line play had more to do with not being used to playing on artificial turf than anything else. Rushing defense has not been a problem prior to this and saying anyone with a decent rush will kill us might be an overstatement.
  18. UCF is the turnaround team of the year. The coach and the whole team deserve props for the turnaround. CUSA may not be the greatest conference, but it is still a step up from the MAC and UCF did not win a game in the MAC last year, but could be CUSA champs. Hey we won our game. I hope they win out and win their bowl. Undefeated until we beat them next year. ;D
  19. As long as we are dreaming we could hope for back to back sugar bowl appearances. Get two locations and the 2007 game will be pretty significant.
  20. One of the recruiting boards had him listed as the 40th player in Florida, but there does not seem to be much out there about him.
  21. They wanted to make noise while their offense was on the field it only seemed right to help out. Some of their players actually motioned to the crowd to stop.
  22. There was an alternative to parking at the Orange Bowl mentioned on one of the cane sites.  You can go to the UM campus and park for free and they have inexpensive buses that will take you from there to the game.  The campus is actually very nice.  It is understandable why they do not want to play at Robbie.  The Orange Bowl is much closer to the UM campus with Robbie pretty much on the other side of the world.  The whole experiance helps with understanding why attendance has been a problem for the Canes.  You have to give them props for drawing fifty-eight thousand for our game.  The behavior of the fans was not the worse I have seen.  While at an LSU / UF game some Gators got physical with a couple little old ladies because they were wearing LSU gear.   At the Orange Bowl there was some jearing, but it seemed to be all in fun and I never feared for my safety; however, I have been in some bad situations in some very rough areas, so I may not have the same sensitivity level as many.
  23. The Canes have a better football team. Our team is pretty good, but we are not at their level. Their d took over the game. We made mistakes because we had a mismatch going against that D. Our D actually played fairly well, but they were on the field all night. We can still have a great year, but sometimes you play someone that is just better. Its not a melt down to lose to a better team. Our guys played hard all night and I am proud of how they did not quit. If they had mailed it in it would have gotten much uglier and we wouldn't be sitting around trying to turn our QB into the goat. This is a team sport and one player does not make or break you. This time the Canes had the better team.
