    I think the Annual Fund was the highest priority and is where we directed our contributions. As John knows, we'll adjust as the priorities do.

    I believe that it still needs to be approved by the Board of Governors on 6/22 before things are official. That meeting will be held at USF.

    Yes, unanimously for. Faculty rep expressed concern that cost would take funds away from academic program and infrastructure funding.

    A nice article in Florida Politics on how this will help drive increases in research funding as well as being more attractive to better students and faculty. I can certainly see us moving up the rankings faster now.. USF added to prestigious the Association of American Universities USF has been working toward this achievement for 15 years.

    Some other schools claim they have one, but it reality it is adjacent and not on university-owned land. Regardless, we were the first.

    If money going to the Collective all goes to the players, where does the money for administration come from? Certainly not volunteers...

    I don't think people have an issue paying for something when they know what they are paying for. I just don't like being hoodwinked in paying for something as a result of deceptive labeling by legislators that don't even know what they are voting on.

    ECU won their elimination game yesterday, knocking out Cincy. If we beat UCF today, we get Friday off. If we lose, we play ECU in a Friday elimination game.
