  1. OK!  Show of hands if one of our players fathered your child!  I especially expect to see you and the kids at the Spring Game! Go Bulls! (Sorry...couldn't resist)   Pep Rally Photos: http://gobulls.usf.edu/Releases/athletics/2004/04/07/20040407.htm
  2. I enjoyed the print version at well, mainly because of the contributions from other writers. I also loved fact that you can take and read it anywhere, something not possible with a computer. It was great to take the Bullseye to a practice or a game to read up on key matchups, depth charts, etc. I also don't have a computer port in my bathroom.
  3. I'm really starting to wonder if CFN doesn't have us confused with someone else. They've underestimated our record by 3 wins in each of the last 3 seasons and now they think TCU has dodged Memphis and only have little ole' USF and USM coming to Ft. Worth. Texas Tech? pfft.
  4. Not sure how this article relates to our football game with USC... :-/
  5. Exactly. Green was arrested a month ago (even before Fisher, so he's not the 'latest'). It sounds to me like someone went through and typed each player's name in the online arrest lookup to see who did what and it trying to infer some systemic problem with article titles like that. I'll bet you won't see a Tribune reporter looking up all Tribune employees and printing separate articles with the title, "Joe Blow Latest Tribune Employee Arrested". The fact that Green has no eligibility and that it thusly has no impact on his team means that this should have been relegated to the Metro section, if printed at all. If they are gong to accuse the administration or coaches of something, then do it. The 'just reporting the news' line is hogwash. Articles like this are easier to do because all the information is public record and is more sensational.
  6. I think the reference to the NFL draft speaks to that. His tone sounds like he'll make good once he either gets a job playing football or enters some other field. Hopefully, that will be the case.
  7. Game 2 ends with the Bulls winning 8-2. Their record improves to 41-7 (9-2 CUSA).
  8. SoftBulls lead in the second game of the double-header 8-2 after 5 innings.
  9. Game over. BaseBulls win 18-1 in 7 innings. I guess we have the answer to the 'mercy rule' question. Great job, team!! Go Bulls!!
  10. Time to clear the bench and let some uniforms get dirty that haven't been washed much.
  11. It's 18-0 now. The Billikins may want to call it so their players don't get sunburn standing out there so long.. ;D
  12. USF up 17-0. We're still batting in the bottom of the 6th with 2 outs. Is there a mercy rule in baseball like in softball?
  13. Not sure. I guess, traditionally, it was thought of as a 'slower' game and more appropriate for women. I really don't see why they can't play baseball, however.
  14. BaseBulls now up 11-0 with still no outs in the bottom of the 6th. Everyone getting two at bats this inning!
  15. #18 ranked SoftBulls shut out St. Louis 7-0.  Ellis allowed 1 hit, 1 walk and recorded 11 K's. The team is now 40-7.
  16. BaseBulls lead 8-0 at the end of 5. Kyle Schmidt scattering 4 hits. SoftBulls lead 7-0 after 5 1/2. Ellis with her sub 1.00 ERA is on the mound, allowing only 1 hit and 1 walk so far. Go Bulls!
  17. STK - Thanks for the info. Do you recall which section the visiting fans are in? Thanks in advance.
  18. Howie, Did you call ahead to get 'on the list'?
  19. Got mine Wednesday from the Busch/Florida office. I would love to see us move of the specialty tag rankings, especially since it sends $25 to USF! For those of you doing your last-minute taxes, don't forget to count that $25 at renewal time in 2003 as a donation.
  20. Here's to posters like you, Bulldad! ::toasting::
  21. It would, but you'll have to wait. Actually, it's two down, two to go. We beat them 2/29 6-4. We play them again on 4/6 and then 5/11.
  22. Good win, but too many errors and shakey middle relief kept it closer than I would have liked until our bats sealed it at the end.
