  1. I kept wanting to bring it up while we were at the game but was afraid to in case I jinxed us. Great game all around, even with the turnovers.
  2. Professionalism. On the drive up to UNC we watched the Rutgers game again (somehow made it onto a DVD) and announcers are horrible nowadays. "If Rutgers goes up 14-0, USF will be in a hole." No! Really! And "If USF can stop the run, Rutgers will have to rely on Teel." No way! We made fun of announcers all the way up watching that game thinking since this game was on the "U", maybe they would take walk-up announcers before gametime. They should do their homework, and they should not be calling us anything but USF Bulls or the South Florida Bulls.
  3. You guys can always go down the street on Fowler and watch it at Bull Ring. I am sure they would love to have you. But of course, we would love to have you all at Capogna's.
  4. Yes, I am encouraged. I was talking with our road trip group yesterday and we were talking about everything possibly coming together. We made the same observations about the running game, the passing game and now, hopefully the FG/PAT unit. Hopefully punting will never cost us a game like a FG would.
  5. I thought you were asking about the t-shirt again. I guess i have to get used to this weekly title and breakdown from you. Good points.
  6. You guys are starting to have too much fun with that "you" feature.
  7. Gary, best of luck and God Bless. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.
  8. Sorry to hear that Gary. Hope a victory will heal all.
  9. I will be there with other bullbackers. We are doing dinner on Friday then some cards and football and drinking Friday night.
  10. Yes, you are correct. I saw that post also. Both the Tyrone Selmon's and Capogna's Dugout are hosted by the Pinellas Alumni Chapter. Don't forget to get your applications while there for new memberships or renewals. Remeber, if you sign up now, you can get a homecoming special.
  11. A entrance fee, no. We just ask that you support the locations by buying some food or drinks. Was this a trick question?
  12. That is because most of the people who host the watch parties went to the UCF game. There can only be so many "official" locations. You can always start your own as long as you are prepared to always host it. If not, go to the locations where you know for a fact they are Bull friendly. The Tyrone LRS and Capogna's dugout are official Pinellas locations. Hope you can make it to one of those.
  13. Very nice Jen. Again, showing the class of USF fans.
  14. Mutt, I know you would never say that. I was pointing out to the masses about people in general not standing. And I would never mess with your mojo! Go Bulls!
  15. I hope he is ok. He was in a lot of pain when that happened. When I watched the replay, I had no idea he was in so much pain. I am also looking forward to Ponton's and J. Julmiste's resturn. I hope we run all over UNC and give Grothe a break.
  16. I did hear that when I was watching the TiVo replay. I almost threw something at the TV when she said that.
  17. Gary is his name. He used to post on here but between smazza and his work computer not letting him log in I think he is a regular on Rivals, but I could be wrong. I just saw him at the Rutgers game.
  18. but usf will beat unc unc is worse than uconn I hope you are right Steve. Being on the road is always a roll of the dice with this team but hopefully Grothe will change that feeling.
  19. it is about rights...everyones rights..they have the right to ask you to sit down and you have the right to stand..i so want those shirts that say: if you cant see stand up.... Yes, you are "right." Everyone has the right to enjoy the game the way they see fit.
  20. With our 4-2 record, I feel that we let a 5-1 record slip through our hands.  Either one of those losses could have been a win with some clutch receiving or kicking.  With that being said, and not being able to change the past, I see us bowling with the return of Ponton. I think he will be a little rusty this weekend, but believe we can go 3-0 this month to bring our record to 6-2 (2-1).  I think that Syracuse is not the door mat it used to be and hopefully since that game is the last home game, senior Night and all that, we will win, but I am not as confident as the rest of you. I hope the emotion of Homecoming helps us beat Pitt.  If we can't stop Palko, we are in trouble.  7 wins, maybe an upset along the way gets us 8, and we are bowling again.
