    Made it to the game with the wife and added two free tickets for my daughter and her cousin when we got there. There were a few local girls hoops teams in attendance along with the normal regulars. I was hoping to see a lot more fans since attendance was free, but I guess with the men's game getting cancelled the promotion sort of fizzled out. Loved watching the ladies mostly dominate JU (yet again). Go Bulls!

    All I can say is thank goodness YouTube TV has DVR recordings. Was planning to watch it live if it started at 11:30, but now I'm thinking I'll save it for my morning Christmas Eve coffee.

    The world's population has nearly doubled since 1975 and Tampa's population has nearly tripled, so at least there are more potential fans out there. Seriously, though, despite cultural changes and phone addiction I think college football will only continue to grow its fan base in the coming decades. I've got no scientific evidence for that, but it seems too big to fail at this point. Just hoping USF can benefit one day soon. The stadium may or may not help in that regard, but I'll be thrilled to be there watching on campus for as long as I'm able to get up and move.

    I'm thinking the first game in the new OCS will sell out no matter who we play. There will be a lot of excitement for the shiny, new experience. I know I'll be there at least!

    Me too. I hope she can get back on track. Not sure if there is an injury issue we don't know about? On the bright side, I saw some really promising things from Sara Guerreiro in the VCU game. She only shot 1 for 6 but she looked fearless out there, hustled the whole time she was in the game, had a key loose ball rebound and assist that seemed to start the comeback, and she hit a three. Guess we'll have to wait to see if she continues to take minutes from Alvarez.

    What is great is that the comeback was mostly without many of our normal stars on the floor. Of course, with Pinzan out there good things often happen. Never doubted they'd come back and win... Seriously, though, I think VCU was gassed after hitting all those shots and playing such hard defense the first three quarters. I guess good ol' SFU just outlasted VCU.
