Anything is possible. The remaining games are not exactly against great teams. 10 - 12 wins could happen (or 7 wins). Hard to know with this team. -
Proof that you can win when you hit just 8% of your three pointers. Stat of the game (besides ally-oop dunks by Boggs) was definitely the 18 turnovers by Temple vs. 9 for USF. Chaplin and Tchewa had solid games tonight. Still not sure what I just watched, but it was fun because we won.

Hope you get some takers. I'd take you up, but I've still got a $200 ticket package to burn through without many games left. It's tough to get fired up for men's games right now, even for me. -
They are definitely streaky. Couldn't hit the broad side of the Sundome tonight.

Not sure why more bench players didn't get minutes. Jose must have assumed EVENTUALLY his sharpshooters would start making some shots? Not sure you can gameplan for all of your guards going cold in the same game. The inside game actually was very good today.

I mean, I did say to expect them to win in the future. I also previously said in this thread that I expect them to win every freaking game, even though I know that is crazy. Just saying a loss is not the end of the world of USF sports. We've seen plenty of those over the years.

Guys need to let it fly when they are open. It looked like a lot of guys have zero confidence in their shot.

Not our night. It's a young team. All we can do is expect them to win in the future. I'll never give up on a USF Bulls team. Just let the losses go and enjoy whatever wins we get to experience while we're still breathing.

It's pretty sad that our game thread has more discussion on how our coach and AD are bad than actually discussing the game. I guess the game itself is too painful to talk about.

Houston is the only other team to score 40 in the first half against USF this season. I think at this point Murphy just needs to shoot an elbow 15 footer off the dribble every time down the court. They also might want to stop Griffin from shooting.

Chucky was at the USF game last night.

This Chucky was also at a men's hoops game the other night, seated on the baseline floor seats. When I was a student, I played with/against both Atkins and Bradley in some pickup games on campus. Pretty surreal actually, now that I think back on it. Also surreal to think that Chucky A. played on the same NBA court as Michael Jordan, who played for Dean Smith, who played for Phog Allen, who played for James Naismith. That means I'm only 2 degrees from the greatest of all time and 5 degrees from the inventor of the game. That practically makes me basketball royalty. -

Tough call between McCreary and Walker starting. I have really loved seeing the energy and overall hustle from Walker the past few games. He does so many positive "non-statistic" things throughout the game. He also adds to the toughness factor that we usually need out there. This team is young. I am enjoying (yes, enjoying) watching them mature and develop more chemistry. As the all too often used saying goes for us Bulls fans, next year and the one after that could be special if most of these freshmen/sophomore players can stay together and not portal out in large numbers.
