    Football is a much more dangerous sport than basketball. Putting kids out on a basketball for 6 more games poses a much less risk than football.

    The Big 12 doesn't even play a conference championship game so they shouldn't even be considered in the playoffs? If they are considered then they don't have to risk that extra loss in he conference and have an easier road.

    So let me get this right, you're saying that if Florida beat Bama in the SEC championship whether it be due to injury or luck, then Florida should be in he playoffs and not Bama?

    Only reason the game is close is their 12 free throws and we haven't shot one. If we can cut down the fouls which we had problems with last year we could have a competitive team. If not we have to rely on shooting the ball a lot better.

    I agree with the defense, but he misses a couple of layups/tip-ins every game at the rim. While I would still play him over Santos, I am happier with Santos's progress over the offseason.

    A win is a win. Santos has been a pleasant surprise recently, but Guerrero has been a disappointment so far. Hopefully when we get McMurray back we will have fresher legs going into the second half and a shooter who can knock down a jumper from anywhere on the court.

    I wasn't expecting this team to be as good as last year, but the way Pujol has been playing and Flores really improving her passing I think we could be better. Flores was making no look passes all night and they were all on target and allowed the shooter to have a better look. We also have the height we lacked last year. When Flores was out last night all of our players were taller than their tallest player, which just made the game unfair. If jesperson can stay consistent this team could be a top 4 seeded team and play UCONN close and beat Louisville.

    I was watching his tape today and I really like what this kid brings to the table. Reminds me of Tyre McCants who was the most talented kid on his high school offense so he played quarterback and did everything. Really fast, could see him being a deep threat WR or a Rodney Adams who runs the jet sweep. Probably won't see the field his freshman year due to the depth we have, but I see him being a star receiver for us in he future.
