We really need to play both to keep the defense guessing since with flowers defenses will start to make him beat them with his arm and with bench defenses will make him beat them with his legs. We'd be better to play both and make the defense have to constantly guess

Not suggesting we have a better option, but Flowers can't pass for ****. He may have a strong arm but it doesn't seem too accurate. Flowers is only good for 3-4 good passes a game. The rest he is way off on. This is why bench should get some playing time as he is a more accurate passer and gives our receivers a better chance of catching the ball -
We would be better off to put both bench and flowers on the field for a few plays and mix it up where bench throws some and qf run some. That way we would at least make the defense have to guess and would open up both the passing game and running game as the d would have to be prepared for both

What else could he have done??? run it up the middle again? Rollout and either run to the outside using his speed or if a te or wr gets open throw it to him

flowers can only complete passes when the receivers get open. He struggled mightily when he threw into coverage and on the pic he overthrew the receiver but the receiver shid have tried to knock it down. But than again Willie called the play knowing passing into coverage is not something he is really good at
