Looks like we’re getting exposed today folks. Unless Gilbert opens the playbook and we can ever figure out how to start a game faster, this is our ceiling.
Something has to be fixed. The slow starts just continue to put us in a hole to start and sooner or later (looks like sooner today) will takes it toll.
Ugh, why is every game so painful to watch now?
This feels like the xCSH era where we play not to lose, but we haven’t played anyone with a pulse to have it bite us in the ass yet.
I never understood why he didn’t catch on with xCWT or the new staff. I thought it would have helped tremendously with continuity and he seemed to be pretty good (from what I could observe).
I know we don’t like them winning, but doesn’t it make more sense for both UCF and USF to be undefeated heading into Black Friday?
It helps our perception, the conference’s National perception and boosts us more in the rankings if we win.
Thoughts?
True, but I could play DC against this team and pitch a shutout...stack the box on first and second downs, drop 8 into coverage or blitz every third down (throw a spy on Blake every so often). Boom 15 consecutive three and outs.
