On program base alone, take out geographic preferences or past alliances, no one in their right mind picks usf. Bottom tier team. That statement's rationale should have been applicable for the 2014 class, coming off a 5-19 2 year record, with the worst loss in the history of 1A-1AA matchups thrown in there, but USF was able to get recruits with choices of a lot higher profile programs than NCSU. While it's hard to disagree with your assessment based on common sense, there's plenty of evidence that shows it's not accurate .......... yet. Based on on-the-field performance only, i might agree with you, but there is so much more to it than that and you know it as you clarified your statement.
