Was the first scrimmage open to the media at all? If so, any idea or reports of how things went?

I'm not on twitter, but I did a quick google search for GA's and it has no kind of update or info on the scrimmage.

If I remember correctly there was suppose to be some sort of "depth chart" established afterwards, hopefully that is available today.

FOOTBALL SEASON CAN'T GET HERE FAST ENOUGH!!!!!

As long as we can sign Colin Kaepernick we'll be fine.

Scrimmage was closed. We only get Taggart before practice, so this morning was first opportunity to ask him about scrimmage from day and a half ago ...

THANKS GA!

I knew that this must have been the case since you're always up to date with all USF sports info, I was just making sure.

I read an article about Coach T ..TEACHING FOOTBAL.

It said he was practicing red zone plays and explaining  what the play was trying to accomplish.

One thing I have always noticed is this….GREAT TEAMS HAVE GREAT DOWNFIED BLOCKING.

The extra run yards and TD’s come from discipline  and extra effort.

A great offense keeps the defense guessing .

If a defensive safety sees ½ the offensive  line moving and the other half with their hands on their hips..there is little doubt where the run is going to go and where safety  should be going..

BROKEN PLAYS THE MIRACLE…

Many times broken plays go for great yards…Think about it…the confusion on the field makes it hard for the defense to get a clear picture …field awareness….trying to see where the QB is…Where receivers are running etc.

So in many ways they best plays are plays that can appear to be planed broken plays, missed blocks on the line …defenses commit to try and get a  sack and it’s a bubble screen pass.

Running a series of plays to lull safeties  and then go for the bomb….

So much of our success will depend and smart thinking...and taking advantage of temporary miss matches.  Our  players who can think and who are given the POWER and AUTHORITY to think and improvise will be the key to WINs…

One thing about SKIPPY's Play calling  you knew one thing BOORING . ‘

Go Bulls
