Why is Vicki Mitchell there?

Vicki made the Hall because she was named on enough ballots to meet the induction criteria.  To get to what you are really asking, I think you would find that many marked her on their ballots because at the time of voting Vicki was greatly involved in a lot of student and fan activities.  Students and Fans are the largest bodies of voters here.  Vicki did a lot to change the face and direction of the old Athletic Association and always had time to interact with big donors, small donors and fans.  She also did a lot to promote watch parties that board members attended and was a catalyst in increasing student involvement in those days.  That's my memory on it.

I have received a lot of emails inquiring as to when the vote will happen.  Believe me, I am trying to get to it.  I have to leave Tuesday for a long trip and will likely not get to it before then.  When I return on the 12th, I have customers to facilitate until the 14th.  Please be patient, I anticipate we'll have a vote by the third week of April.

Thanks for your interest, I am glad we have this much energy devoted to recognizing our finest Bulls.  We'll get to it soon....
