I think back a few years ago when super rookie RB Robert Edwards had a very serious knee injury in a flag football game sponsered by NFL on beaches in Hawaii during pro bowl week. Pats did not have to pay this guy after that injury but Robert Kraft paid off the guys whole contract. Edwards made a comeback with Dolphins a couple years after the injury but is not even close to old player. Yanks will probably make a run at Arod now and move Jeter to third?
