my close, personal friends over at ESPN will be launching a nuevo network...ESPNU...University ESPN. This network will be dedicated to collegiate sports only.

However, my less close and not very personal friends over at USDOJ will be eyeballing this network as well. It would appear that there is some anti-trust concern regarding the practice of "warehousing" (wherein ESPN buys the broadcast to x-conference, but decides to only air the top game (basketball & football)) which results in forcing schools (hmmm....now why is this familiar?) to schedule games at bizarre hours to get tube time.

By having a network dedicated to just college sports, it should aleviate this practice.
