University of South Florida quarterback B.J. Daniels is the Big East Conference's offensive player of the week, the league announced Monday.

Daniels, a sophomore, accounted for 321 yards of total offense and four touchdowns in the Bulls' 38-30 victory at Cincinnati. He completed 13 of 16 for 286 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 25 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries. USF snapped Cincinnati's 13-game Big East win streak and 14-game win streak at Nippert Stadium.

Syracuse senior linebacker Doug Hogue is the defensive player of the week and Louisville junior kicker Chris Philpott the special teams honoree.
