lol... what fat boy and what greasy boy?

Wells and Pedro?

Pedro signs with Mets

Wells with Sox.

It is a downgrade, but there is significant money saved, and we are signing Renteria with that mula, plus now in the clement and delgado pictures.

I have allways loved Wells as a pitcher, however Red Sox fans you may be getting a raw deal like the Yanks got with Kevin Brown.   ;D

Wells won't be required to be a horse in Boston.  He's a fourth starter behind Schill, Wakes, and Arroyo.

And for the record, there's no way in hell that Pedro's worth 4/50 guaranteed.

Pedro was overpaid by the Mets... we did the right thing not to sign him.  Wells will be #3 starter behind arroyo, wake will be #4 unless we get clement or another starter.  I do think we over paid for Wells, but it is only a 2 year deal, so at least we aren't stucke with him for too long.

If we sign renteria... we may be trading Hanley Ramirez and some others for Hudson.  Just a rumor i heard.

if arroyo is your #2 you are in a position we were in last season....you better out slug every team you play....which works fine until the post season arrives.

We'll have one more pitcher... not sure who though.

Arroyo dominated the yankees last year, he's only going to get better.  I'm not worried about him.

I'm worried about Wells' back, and schillings ankle, and who the 5th pitcher will be... schill mentioned that they were after AJ Burnett from the marlins.  That would be a good young #4 pitcher with a good heater.  Or clement or perez.  any of those 3 would be good #4's.

And could possibly compete for #3 with wells.

Who knows, perhaps we'll put Arroyo at 3 and wells at 4... i don't know... its all up in the air until we know who the 5th starter will be.
