I was hoping to get some opinions on the Wii Active vs the Wii Fit from people who either own or have used them. Just got a Wii and though I eventually will probably get both I can't afford both right now and am trying to figure out which is better.

All I know about them is the Fit is about $30 more than the Active and requires more space. I also get the impression Fit is more yoga low intensity and active is more cardio high intensity stuff.

Your input would be greatly appreciated!

I don't have any first-hand advice, but I'm a Wii owner and have been looking at both recently. What I've been hearing most is that Wii Active is the better program--it's got better training regimens, more tracking, and is just as, if not more, active than the Wii Fit, despite it having a "tool" to measure in the board.

thanks! I'm leaning towards the active myself because I've gotten the same impression from reviews I've read!

I should probably just use the gym memebership I have more but the appeal of the Wii stuff is I can do it on my time; with driving I never seem to spend less than 1.5 on a trip to the gym and running in FL is so restricted this time of the year with the heat

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
