Is Kansas really that boring??

When I was going to Manatee Community College (before going to USF) back in the 80s I had an English professor that went to the Kansas and he was bragging about how they had the best reading scores of any University in the nation. Someone in the class blurted out that it was because there was nothing else to do there.

Yes, it seems strange but at least for once it was not someone negatively commenting about USF.  They are only exited about their team.

Honestly though, Lawrence is right next to Kansas City, and is the only liberal area in the whole state. No more boring than anywhere else in the country. And hillbillies are located to the east in Missouri.

It looks like three posters were involved in that thread, and they probably have no lives period based on their post counts. It takes a bit more for most of us Jayhawk fans to get excited.

Can't wait for the game in Tampa. Flying down with a large group from Ohio. Looking forward to the rematch, as the two teams are completely different now.

The Jayhawk does look like a dodo bird though...
