my understanding is they will bring in a small number of candidates for on-campus interviews later this week ... unlv's had back-to-back losing seasons, but the coach they fired was 175-125, with six postseasons in 10 years ...

Jose has been good for our program and is a hell of a recruiter. Think about where the program is and where it was. While I dont think he deserves millions, I think he's earned his keep and we should keep him around if it's within our means.

Looks like he is a finalist. Money aside, is coaching in the WAC better than the BE?  Me think not.

Jose is an assest to this school, he has turned around this program from nothing to going to 5 straight post-season appearances.  he is a great recruiter and a very friendly guy, who spends a lot of time with the people who support the program.  to those of you who don't care about him, put your dislike for womens basketball aside and look at what he has accomplished here, we need to keep him.
