I was just looking at the standings for BE mens bball. I think we have 7 "locks":

Georgetown

Louisville

Uconn

ND

MU

Pitt

WVU

Does anyone think Cuse or Nova can sneak in?

I'd hardly say Pitt and WVU are locks.

I think we get all 7 of those at this point with the other two on the outside lookin in

With 4 more wins (2 regular schedule and 2 in tourney) either team passes the bubble and gets in.  Anything less and forget it.

I'll go with 7 as well.  I don't think Cuse or Nova gets in.

1) we will beat nova (that is the last nail in their coffin)

2) Cuse will find a way to f' themselves (losing to us was the 2nd to last nail in their coffin)

Nova will be in now - after beating cuse with another quality win (I use that term lightly when referring to cuse this year).  The 20 wins will be the 7th BE team to make it.  Remember, nationally, there are few teams that are great this year - the committee will be looking at many 20 win teams (even a few 19 and maybe an 18 or so).  I would not rule out 8 BE teams>>>>>>

Nova has 11 losses and a couple bad ones compared to the recent slide. They have to win today to dance.

and all those people complaining that the big east gets so many teams because they have 16 teams.

7 of 16 is not even 50%

Pac 10 might get 6

6 of 10 is 60%... that means a team in the bottom 40% of the league gets in?

If so, that destroys any future argument against the big east getting 7 or 8 or even 9 teams.

I still say 7 for the big east despite cuse losing.

hope you're not a math major  lol  .  if 6 of 10 make it, the top 60% are in, the bottom 40% are out.
