Pujols will destroy Bond's homerun mark.  Come back in 15 years to this post and you will see  ;)

They said the same of the Kid in seattle.  BTW how great is it that Arod is hitting .197 with runners in scoring position this year and most likely will not even get a 100 rbi.  Cant handle the new york pressures

The difference between Griffey and Pujols is that Puhols is durable.  Griffey has been injury plagued for almost a decade.

Griffey didnt have many injuries his first 12 years in the league.  Pujols is in what year 4?  At age 30, griffey had already hit 450 hrs. It is too hard to tell what is going to happen to a guy over the next 15-20 years.

How about Manny? He is 32 and is clsoing in on 400 homeruns. He is more then 1/2 way there and if he can keep hitting 35-40 per year for another decade will be close himself.

I'd love to see Manny get way up there, and i'd love to see him stay a Sox for the rest of his career.  As much as i question some of his moves from time to time... i love watching him play... he has so much fun.

I agree there are so many question marks that can happen to screw up a career... and pujols could get injured at any time... but he just doesn't seem to be as fragile a frame as Griffey.

But then again... Frank Thomas.. Magglio Ordonez... big guys get hurt too.

I thought the greatest Player of our time was warren Beatty?

Of course, he is! Even Jesus didn't win a Super Bowl minutes after rising from the dead ................   8)

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
