Not a bad start for such a young kid. First teenager to hit a HR since A. Ramirez (currently with the CUBS but with the Pirates then) in 98.  Batting above .300 and faring decent in the field, he is appearing to be the real deal.

I hope the Rays are able to finalize the long term deals they are working on with Crawford, Baldelli and Upton. These are the players they will need to build upon and hopefully in the offseason build around. May give Lamar a chance to actually prove he's worthy of a job.

Lamar sux - he has had plenty of time to deliver and hasn't done squat.

Upton will be the first superstar to graduate from small-market D-Rays & sign with a team who can pay more, a-la Vlad Guerrero or Barry Bonds.
