Beam signing for the New Marshall Center

As per the e-mail I received today:

Starting this Thursday at 11am, you are invited to sign the steel beam!

What is it?  We have painted a steel beam gold and everyone is invited to sign it starting at 11am on Thursday, November 29th.

Why?  It is the last beam that will be placed in the new Marshall Student Center and will remain there with the signatures as long as the new building stands.

Who?  All students and staff who are key users of the current and future buildings can be among the first people to sign the beam.

When?  The signing kick-off is at 11am on Thursday but markers will remain with the beam for a few weeks until it is hoisted into position.

Where?  Outside the Marshall Center food court adjacent to the construction site.

All staff and students are invited to attend the signing kick-off at 11am on Thursday and can be among the first people to sign the beam.  See you there!
