A few minutes ago, the announcers on the GB-Washington game said that the BCS standings would be revealed after the game and that there was a surprise at the top (paraphrasing here). Considering the fact that Ohio State would be the least surprising #1 given their "traditional" status, this led me to believe we may see someone else at #1. Think it could be USF or BC? Or worst case scenario, a leap-frogging one-loss team?

My math says USF/BC tied for #1

OSU #3

(but that is without some of the computers reporting yet... if OSU gets a bump from them, they could rise)

Well I calculate our BCS average being .92 at the moment if we are #1 in all but 1 of the computer polls.  It's a good possibility that we could be up there.

Your math is a bit off... it will depend on the computers, but here is what I have:

1 OSU = .938  (.997 Coaches Poll, .998 Harris Poll, .820 Computers)

2 USF = .920 (.880 Coaches Poll, .880 Harris Poll, 1.000 Computers)

3 BC = .904 (.922 Coaches Poll, .930 Harris Poll, .860 Computers)
