But since Missouri is doing great, they picked the Oklahoma game. Which is understandable. I would rather have them come to the Cincinnati game in november. That would make that game legendary. And who wouldn't want to see Lee Corso put on the Bullhead!?this statement is based on what?
Guest
Unfortunately our biggest problem is that the stadium is not on or next to campus. They really want 2 things 1)the college environment and 2) being next stadiumFirst, being next to the stadium is only necessary because they generally have their ESPN/ABC trucks and equipment to handle the game - which makes it easier to also handle the GameDay set. However, that is not a 100% requirement. I've seen GameDay come from all kinds of places over the years.Second, what is "the college envrionment" anyway? What they want is a few hundred fans, the cheerleaders, the band. We can get that anywhere. Perhaps you haven't noticed, but we are selling out our football games. They pick the location with the best matchup - that is the deciding factor. Quite simply Mizzou @ OU is a better game than watching USF blow out a C-USA team whose best accomplishment this year is that they "barely" lost to a 2-loss Texas team.
