Hats off to the athletcs dept! (BANDANAS)

I hear they were responsible for the 8,000 green bandanas that were being handed out gratis.

I helped hand out several hundred of them and people were practically mobbing me to get theirs.

1. We needed more than 8k

2. They should be gold next time, I watched the game today on ESPN and you can't see green lol

WVU was waving yellow...??? That wouldn't be right.. Green is more accurate. it's the primary color; gold is second.

yeah, but you cant see the green and it isn't a distraction. WVU's main color is blue, you don't see them waving blue flags.

Sure you do. The green is a lighter shade, and you see it plenty when the bandanas are moving.

Trust me - sitting up in section 338 last night, I could see it all. The bandanas are impressive - exactly what we wanted to see.

Go watch a Penn State game. Their colors are white and navy blue. they all wear white, and wave white bandanas.. and its very effective.

lol yeah but white is a color that stands out (despite being a surrender flag). if we do green again it has to be like a neon or lime green so you can see. I was watching the game on ESPN today and you cant really make out the bandanas against all the green we're wearing.
