I talked to Weezy today and he said that they cut him for roster space, but he will be re-signed in July for camp. Between now and July, another team could sign him if they wanted.

I like Burnett -- loved the way he played, ferocious hitter and all.

But it doesn't seem like he has the speed to play DB in the NFL.

His cutting was not surprising in the least.

That being said, we'll always root for him & every other Bull.
