The reason I ask is because when I was out at Fenway weekend before last, I ended up talking to a pair of Yankees fans who made the trip over from NYC to catch the Dodgers game.

The Yankees fans made two points:

1.  Fenway was the most awe-inspiring park in the major leagues.

2.  Red Sox fans are the most knowledgeable and devoted fans in baseball, INCLUDING their own Yankee bretheren.

They also commented that it was the best environment they'd been in to see a game, that Yawkey Way was the most fun they've ever had outside a ballpark, and that they'd be back.

With all that going for us, PLUS an exciting and competitive team to watch, how can we NOT keep cheering on the Sox?

I talked to my Dad and he was at the sunday night dodgers game when he was interviewed by ESPN and he was on top of the monster in the first row real close to the foul line. Were you on the monster for that game?

Yep!  I was at that game.

I was on the opposite side of the Monster, though.  He was probably in section 1 or 2 near the pole.  I was in section 10, in center field, 3rd row.

Small world.

Because I'm such a swell guy, I will ignore the implications of that comment ............. and you still haven't congratulated me on my being 100% correct on the goalie platooning in the playoffs prediction .........   8)

In all honesty, the Sox need to worry more about the Rays rather than the Yanks right now.

Go D Rays
