As of right now the Sox are tied for the Wild Card spot with Oakland.  Teams who will make the playoffs don't dump salary.

he's just saying it to get a rise out of us... its funny that he thinks his giants are all so great, but where are the fans?  this board is loaded with Boston fans, and one lonely Bonds/SF fan.

I have tremendous respect for SF's history and their team, but none for the "new and improved" Bonds.  He WAS great during his clean years, but he's lost all credibility with me, as have many others.  I think he'd gain credibilty if he just admitted it and moved on, but he wouldn't do that for the fear of the giant ASTERIK!
