UCF not so Golden anymore

No leaks huh?  I remember when we did the redesign there were committee members that had seen it and did a pretty good job keeping it under wraps.  

Word on the street is they are trying to decide if the i should be lower or upper case.

Won't know until June 14th.  All we know is that the logo has a new font for UCF, no more lance(replaced with a sword) and the helmet will be white.

As stated before I have a very good friend who is high up at the Athletic Department so do not betray my trust of giving you guys the first look at the new logo, it would strain my friendship if he found out I showed you guys this before it is officaily released.

O.k. I have been seeing the term "UCiF" around the boards, can someone tell me what the "i" stands for? And to whoever asked, "what can we chant now instead of Golden Showers?" I say we still chant golden showers because the fact it isnt their name anymore makes it like 10x better than before.

These are the logos currently pending according to the patent and trademark office website. They are not really being well received over on their message board...and by the looks of these, I don't blame them. I think they dropped the ball on these logos unless they have a few more up their sleeves.

Wow. Very similar theme to Troy University's newer style alt logo (which was NOT a big hit either, Im told)

It might have been the same logo designer.  Personally, I find the logo to be a little "busy".  Maybe dropping the UCF Knights out of it and make it just the knight would be better.
