The teams have the same league record, USF has a slightly better overall record and won the first meeting on Monday, and the Bulls have a higher RPI.They're close enough that Saturday's winner is almost assured of being in the NCAA field, even if they lose against Connecticut on Sunday. I cannot imagine a scenario in which Seton Hall loses Saturday and gets in, and for USF to lose and get in, all the lesser one-bid conferences would have to have their best teams win the automatic bids, and the selection committee would have to see fit to put an unprecedented nine teams from one league in the NCAA field.Seton Hall is definitely the hotter team, but they have two bad losses (from the first month of the season) against teams that aren't even in the RPI top 100. Seton Hall has three wins against RPI top 50 teams (USF has two) but otherwise is behind USF is nearly every criteria. (It's conceivable that Seton Hall could beat USF and the selection committee would still take USF over the Pirates, since they split their two meetings, but the committee puts value in play in conference tournaments, so give the edge to Saturday's winner). The simplest answer is that Saturday's winner is likely in.

Thanks.Just curoius as to what our actual RPI is? We seemes to have played a tough schedule.I am worried about us beating Seton Hall away from home. A bit of a home court for them and we have stunk STUNK away from home.
