What is the weakest football position for 2007?

Based on the philosiphy, "You are only as strong as your weakest link," I'm going to have to say our Running game is a top priorty.

Someone who runs this board isn't going to like what I'm about to say but I think it's 100% true. GROTHE WILL have a career ending injury if we do not develop this position. Grothe's heart is obviously built for what he does on the field but his body isn't, THAT IS A FACT ( we have all seen it).  Don't think for a second that the coaches don't realize this, why do you think we are trying to obtain a guy like FORD.

UF won a championship without a RB.  Their FB was their 3rd string RB because a QB and WR were #1 and #2.  

Also, I think we're trying to get a guy like Ford because everybody is trying to get a guy like Ford.

We need a guy like ford because last year we couldn't line it up and rush for 3-4 yards on first down.  And by "rush," I mean hand it off to the RB like normal football teams do.  This was a combination of OL and RB not performing well.  Even in our big win against WV, we just could not count on running the ball with our backs to get 3-4 yards.  We gained our yards by Grothe passing, Grothe running, or WR running.  Not going to get too far without at least forcing the defense to stop our running attack.  

Florida was an exception this year because of some incredible talent at the WR and Fullback (tebow) positions.

Look at Rutgers this year.  All they did on offense was hand the ball to ray rice and gain positve yardage on every play.  That got them all the way to #12 in the AP.
