Schmidt also started at Tackle at WVU. And would not suprise me if Tolley took over the RT position from Walker and Walker moved to RG. Guest JulmisteForPrez
I certainly hope one of the other centers steps in and takes command of that position. I just haven't seen much out of Capogna. Still too small.

This needs to be our #1 priority this recruiting season.

Warren I think they plan to play at guard. As far as Ide, I would love it if he passed by Carnes to be the backup Left Tackle.
Guest JulmisteForPrez
Yeah, Boger is long gone. What about McCaskill? Did he qualify, or was he one of the 90 or so academic casualties we had? I can't remember.

And hopefully our Tackles stay healthy. We were banged up a lot this season and the guys did well. I feel that our Left side is our strongest with Dile and Griffin. Guest JulmisteForPrez
I can't figure Griffin out.I saw him play when he was a senior at Armwood. He looked very good, plenty mobile enough, and looked good in a uniform. I thought it was a good pickup for the Bulls. Then comes this year, the first time I've really seen him since then, and he just looks slow and sloppy. I remember watching the game against McNeese and saying, "Who the heck is #77?!?!" He looked REALLY overmatched against McNeese State. McNeese State!!From the little I saw Griffin this year, Huners looked MUCH better. I hope we come out of Spring practice with a solid group of five who are firmly entrenched as the top O-line. I will try to eatch the McNeese St game again 2day or 2morrow. Really haven't viewed/studied O-Line much. He broke his foot against UCF. Did not play the next 6 games. Got some playing time against 'cuse, 'ville & WVU. Should be close to 100% for the Bowl. ...I hope we come out of Spring practice with a solid group of five who are firmly entrenched as the top O-line.If healthy, I feel that we can in 2007 with this group. Really feel that we have a great coach for this position. Each year it seems we have serious question marks for this group, but they do well and are far from horrible. Horrible = RB & Kicking
