Both the Bulls and 'Nova finished 7-7, but USF swept the regular-season meeting between the two schools.Bulls did lose five of their last six league matches, all in three games, so they're certainly backing in, but that has a lot to do with a schedule that put the tough teams at the end of the year. to go from 1-13 to 7-7 is a huge improvement in any sport. Wow. St. John's hadn't gone to five games in league play all season, but 'Nova took them there today, trying to get the last spot in the league tournament. Here's the score: 30-27, 30-32, 27-30, 30-15, 15-9 ... so Nova was up 2-1 in games ...

Had Nova at 8-6 and St. John's at 13-1... I was ready to raise accusations of intentionally losing! A 26-1 team loses on Senior Day at home? I don't think so:)Congrats to the ladies, they said to me earlier they thought they could play much better against St. John's then they did three weeks ago, so now they'll get that chance.
