I'm happy about the Pitt win.  I'll be happy about the SEASON if we can beat a syracuse team that we're supposed to beat.  

If this happens:

7+ win season

2nd straight bowl game from a BCS conference

Increased exposure against LOU and WVU

Returning most of our starters

This is looking good for USF and for potential USF recruits.  Now lets start keeping some of that florida talent from going to those mid-level SEC/ACC teams!

I've moved on from the losses to RU, CIN, and KAN.

At least now we're complaining about losses to BCS caliber teams.  Big step-up from a few years ago.

I'm happy with the win and the fact all the purveyors of the doomsday theory disappear after a win.  But with Basketball starting up and tough football road games ahead, I say the meter is endangered.
