B.O. you missed out on quiet a few sales by keeping the store closed yesterday after the game! I drove down there with my boy that came from Miami so he could get a few stuff but the place was locked.  At the same time I saw a few other cars pulling in and driving away dissapointed.  We ended up at Bucs & Bulls Heaven where the place was packed with Bulls' fans.  He was pissed caused he wanted the jersey I had from B.O. with the 10 year patch but had to settle for one w/o the patch 'cause they didn't have any.  Maybe you should hire one of the thousands of students that don't care about football so they can keep the store open during gameday.  The place has too much good stuff to keep it closed.

moises, I may be speaking out of turn since I don't own the business, but i do personally know him.  And I have owned a business before.  He just moved in.  Employees are an overhead that not all new businesses can afford.  Not to mention the trust factor of leaving YOUR business in the hands of a student that could give away your merchandise.

I am sure it was a dissapointment, but you should return for the quality and quantity of merchandise and the fact that they are HUGE USF supporters and not just in business to get rich off of the USF name.

Also, he had such a booming day on Friday, he ran out of credit card slips.  The company that was supposed to install all the wiring and internet has slacked so he has to do credit card sales manually and he ran out of cc slips.

Don't be angry, just know that there is a USF shop, with quality, and value-priced  merchandise.  I am sure he hated the business he lost, but hopefully you won't stop wearing that jersey and you will tell people where you got it.

He is a fan and was at the game and I am sure gurlybull will respond to this also since she works there.

I was not angry when I wrote that and that wasn't my tone.  It was more of a simple story/suggestion post.  I didn't bring up Bucs & Bulls heaven in a "hey they are better than you..." way, just as proof that you could have great sales after a win.  B.O. it's still going to be my first choice, but unfortunately my friend couldn't wait since he was leaving for Miami the next morning and he wanted his jersey right away. Nothing but well wishes to our first dedicated Bulls' store.

Cool.  Thanks for the reply.  I was not trying to be angry either but give you some reasons as to why he was not open.

I bet the Outfitter would be open on game day if we had one of those not to be mentioned here things on campus that always results in a 5 page thread of replies with the usual stale replies.

:D;)

Yeah, sorry about the closure.  Unfortunately, we are not big enough to go hiring a full time staff.  We are dedicated SOLELY to the Bulls, at amazing prices. Realistically,  Bulls fans are apathetic and not a guaranteed sale...I am sure if we marked up our prices like some others to make more profits and marketed a pro team like others, which would guarantee sales..we would do the same.  Fact is, we are both HUGE Bulls fans and that is priority one.  I am proud that we would rather be there supporting our Bulls than turn a dime on the game.  We are looking to get someone to be there on Saturday for Syracuse...but like I said...its hard...it wont be Craig and it CERTAINLY wont be me...

Keep supporting the store and maybe we can hire that student who doesnt care about football, but I hope it is hard as hell to find one...

GOOO BULLS!!  :)

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
