The impact transfers are led by senior Danny Otero, who was Duke's ace last season with a staff-best 2.20 ERA. Watch out for former Tampa Catholic and FSU standout Charles Cleveland and Miami's Walter Diaz, who should be key bats in the lineup. Pitcher David Torcise will sit out the season after following Prado from Louisville. Gone after fall ball are six players, including three sophomores from Wharton: infielder Carlos Armstrong, Brett Boggs (son of Hall of Famer Wade Boggs) and Joel Cardieri, younger son of former Bulls coach Eddie Cardieri. His other son, Nick, remains on the roster as a senior.
