for scheduling the  way they have.  Two Thursdays back to back have showcased the Big East in front of the nation with unbeaten teams.  Their planning has sure paid off, with a little bit of luck thrown in of course.  BTW, whatever became of the ACC?  ;D

So West Virginia and Louisville only played home games until they lost?   ::)  ::)  How about playing good teams on the road is tough?

usc won at arkansas

osu won at texas

that is why those teams get respect

Well, louisville went to Kansas state and smoked them to the tune of 24-6 (without Brohm or Bush).  How did texas do when they visited kansas state this year????  Not only that, but that "Horrid" Louisville defense held KSU to 6 points.

Texas gave up 45!  the #4 team in the country does not give up 45 points to KSU.

overrated

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
