Smazza was right about dodgers

He has been saying new owner is a putz and does nothing right.  He just hired a Yankee so I have to agree that this boston guy is a putz.

Los  Angeles, CA  (Sports  Network) -  The Los  Angeles  Dodgers Monday  named

Martin Greenspun as the club's Chief Operating Officer.

Greenspun,  who  has  been  involved in  professional  sports  operations  and

management  for  16 years, will leave  his post as the Chief Financial Officer

and  vice  president of the  New York  Yankees. The 41-year-old Greenspun will

join the Dodgers on May 17.

"Marty  possesses an  unparalleled range of strategic financial expertise, and

we anticipate he will have an extremely positive, innovative impact on the Los

Angeles  Dodgers," owner  Frank McCourt said. "I've spoken at length about the

necessity   of   fiscal   responsibility  and   accountability   within   this

organization,  and Marty's track record with the Yankees, Angels, Mighty Ducks

and Kings shows he's the ideal individual to lead us forward in enhancing this

franchise's revenues."

Greenspun  had spent the  past four years with the Yankees and was involved in

all aspects of the team's business operations.

The new owner of the Angels seems to be doing everything right and is cutting into the fan base of the Dodgers!  The new owner has lowered prices at the concession, lowered ticket prices overall, offers a $7.00 hat, and has family packages that are reasonable for families!
