I personally thought it was a good thing to experience because both bands went all out. Anytime another band visits us, I always know there will be two wars during the game. And our "war" is all in good fun. While we were lining up in the tunnel for pre-game, FIU's band came through to get to the stands. We, USF and FIU, were giving each other high fives and telling each other to give the crowd a great performance. One of my favorite moments with HOT was at the bowl game last year. NC State and us both had "School's Out" in our flip folder. At the end of the game when no one else was in the stadium but our two bands in opposite endzones, we played for each other and then waved goodbye from across the field. That was an awesome experience!
