I forgot he is posting as a guest, and the search defaults to only members:Post by S. Bien Some of the bigger names in FL this year are already speaking our name prominently.  None are quite the caliber of Lee, Schaeffer, or Weatherford, but all have the potential to be **** good, and possibly as good.  Keep an eye on names like Carlton Hill, Jonathon Garner, and Theo Wilson. We will get a QB, and we've already offered two of those with a third on the way. http://www.thebullspen.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=news;action=display;num=1079720622;start=4#

Auburn just got one today.Auburn closing in on quarterback commitment  --4/28/2004 from AuburnSports.comAuburn closing in on quarterback commitment by Jeffrey LeeKeeping with its recent trend, Auburn plans on signing at least one quarterback in every recruiting class. This year, one of the top signal callers on their board is an athletic prospect from north Florida. The Tigers appear very close to offering the 6-foot-4, 215-pound quarterback who runs a 4.4 40-yard dash. He is also strongly leaning to the Tigers and would likely accept an early offer. In that race, however, Girling said he was slow out of the blocks. He needed to accelerate through the curve to emerge from the pack to claim the victory in his heat. He had no such trouble in the finals. Coming out of the curve, Girling appeared to be in good shape, but Jefferson County High School’s Carlton Hill, running in Lane 7 on the outside came out of nowhere to edge Girling. Hill finished in 22.14, while Girling posted a personal-best time of 22.21. Girling said he had no regrets about the way he ran the race. “That is my PR for this year,†Girling said. “My last run was my best run. That’s the way it should be. (Hill) just really surprised me. He went from 22.8 to 22.1, so he did a really good job. You have to give him credit. “It is a disappointment not to have won because it was so close. But that’s life. Still to finish second in the state is I think a tremendous achievement.†http://news.mywebpal.com/partners/701/public/news544620.html
