how do you explain ho wsteroids effected this stat?

bonds has whiffed only 8 times this year. for comparison,reggie snaders has whiffed 43 times

has steroids made his eye sight better,hand/eye coordination better?

We aren't saying bonds is skill-less... just that his Homer stat is inflated a bit.  He obviously is a good hitter, one of the better hitters in the game, possibly ever.  His vision is great and he has an excellent formed swing.  But his power is increasing as he approaches 40, as is his bulk and head size.  He is not the same barry bonds who came into the league rail thin... he is a freakin' robot.  Skill should increase with age and maturity, but power/size does not increase that dramatically from age 25 to age 40, EVER!

Reggie Sanders is the whiff king too.  Manny Ramirez has struck out 8 times this year and has 20 more AB's.    Enrique Wilson has two K's in 42 ab's......

If manny is on steroids... he's not doing them right, as he's got the same build he's had since coming into the league.

No I am saying that being on steroids has nothing to do with striking out as manny can attest as he is not a juicer.

An even more impressive stat, Bonds has swung and missed only 7 times this year. Thats not strikeouts, thats swinging and missing the ball ONLY 7 TIMES. Early in the season, but still impressive

that is a good stat... that shows he has good skill/ good hand-eye coordination, good swing etc, which isn't really debatable.
