Any ideas on why USF's recruiting has fallen on hard times in the Sarasota/Bradenton area?  This region is strong in HS football and the Bulls should do very well.  Instead, its been slim pickins' esp. at Booker High.

are we making attempts to "lockdown" the tampa area?

it seems every year the best (best rated perhaps)5-10 players in "our" region go else where to play.

now that we are in the BCS will that trend change?

It may take us getting into a BCS bowl to stop the wholesale loss of the studs from the Bay area.  Won't ever get them all, but some day (hopefully soon) we should get our share.
