However, most of us just aren't against the move, since it provides exposure and cash.
Guest Jim Judy
I hope that thisn't taken wrong many of you have been more than gracious to me on another thread on this board. While this means exposure to both schools and the new bigeast is great need, most Panther fans don't see a great emphasis on this game other than it's the season opener. Notre Dame,Nebraska and WVU not necesarily in that order are the big ones. BC would follow(ACC thing) Syracuse,Rutgers, Temple ( BEast) UConn (baketball rivalry) USF then Ohio and Furman. Road trip is cool end of summer heat is not!! Most realize that this would be tough road opener but not high on most Panthers got to go (just my opinion)

Guest Jim Judy
No !! But conference wins and high profile games weigh more heavily (in my opinion) with the Pitt fan base. Nebraska-with their AD being from Pitt. national program attention & conference affliation. N. Dame- speaks for itself plus revenge that is not three seasons removed. WVU- "Backyard Brawl" says it all Conference wins =conference championship=BCS=$$ + exposure. When we become conference foes and a tradtion is established this game will move up. Finally I think Pitt thinks bball more important than does USF,understand I'm not dissing the Bulls there is much potential for USF to become a major player in a short time.
