Alex Rodriguez had one hit in nine Yankees at-bats, and if the team hadn't salvaged a split against the Devil Rays with a 12-1 win Wednesday at Tokyo Dome, A-Rod would be receiving blame for an 0-2 start. That's the way it goes because A-Rod is no longer in Seattle nor Arlington

With a little more then 1% of their games played for the year, I am thinking he still has time to get it going and will get it going.

it is importeant to get off to good start with a new york team otherwise pressure will bury you

new york isn't boston

HAHA, are you trying to say there is no pressure in Beantown? That is funny.  Arod will not be buried by the pressure if he bats .180 for first half, the guy is gold.

Tell that to the oddsmakers. In vegas they are the second favorite to win world series behind only the Yankees.  Explain that one oh smart one.  I do expect Sox to win WS this year along with many, many, others.  Sox came **** close last year and have improved their team this year. The way the yanks are playing they wont even be in the playoffs ;)

Arod is a career .340 postseason hitter in 15 playoff games. He tore it up against the Yanks in 2000 alcs. He batted .409 with 2 2b, 2 hr 4 r 5 rbi. He didnt melt in the NY spotlight then?
