no not yet..but I like to be positive and hope we do..although reading the papers today the bowl chairpeople can do whatever the hell they want after the 1 and 2 positions are taken..perfect example Louiville..how did they get an offer? they may not finish number 2..plus now with there QB out and a bowl that they accepted will they really play hard saturday against UCONN??..offers should be offered after the season and not before....keep the faith..can always cancel my reservations

Just look at Fresno State.  They hang with USC, get the bid and then lay an egg vs Nevada.

As long as UConn loses, then Charlotte is where we'll be.

That would be the last bowl with a tie-in to the BE and we would be the last bowl eligible team in the BE.

Come 10:30pm or 11pm EST Saturday night, we will know for sure.

If Clemson is selected ahead of the Meineke, NC State would play in Charlotte.  And even if the Bulls win, they could still go to Detroit to avoid a UConn repeat.

One irony: In 2002, USC's win over ND prevented USF from playing in the Motor City.  SC's off coord was Norm Chow (now w/ the Titans), who was replaced in Raleigh by Mike Canales (former Bulls OC now @ Arizona).  The Wolfpack beat the Irish in that year's Gator Bowl.  Thus, a trip to Detroit or a meeting near Tobacco Road would be redemption for the Bulls.

Motor City does not have to take a 6-win USF ... their tie in requires the Big East team to have 7 wins...
